Please join Vince (and possibly Stefanie) on a hike up Poly Canyon in SLO on Saturday July 18. We will meet at 9:30 AM on the Cal Poly campus at the corner of North Perimeter Road and Village Drive to begin our walk up Poly Canyon Road. We will visit the Architecture Graveyard and hike up to the Serenity Swing, if folks are so inclined. The Serenity Swing is a 3.6 mile moderately difficult out-and-back hike with 725 feet of elevation gain. The Architecture Graveyard is considerably easier. Bring plenty of water and a snack if you wish; there is little shade. Dogs are not allowed due to the presence of livestock.

The closest parking lot is the A1 lot next to the Administration building; if that's full, you can park in the garage on Grand Avenue near the Performing Arts Center or in the H2, H4, H10 or H11 lots off of North Perimeter Road. On Saturday and Sunday, parking permits are not required on campus, with the exception of event lots, spaces labeled "Staff 24/7" & Residential parking areas. "24/7 Meter" parking is enforced when indicated on the meter. Limited time zones (example G2 Lot; Green Curbs labeled 20 Min. Max.) and all spaces in Residential parking areas are always enforced.
