Meet at the Nautical Bean
Kathy Steele and Barry Rands will be leading SLO SKIERS BIKE & BITES. The rides are scheduled for the third Friday of the month. All riders are welcome. Any type of bike is welcome and helmets are required! There will be different groups according to speeds. Cyclists may be asked to help lead the different groups. Each ride will be approximately 20 miles round trip.
Rides will start promptly at 9:00 A.M. We will have a coffee ?? break on each ride.

Our May 19th ride starts at the Nautical Bean in the Laguna Shopping Center (corner of Madonna & LOVR) at 9:00 am, but for those who want a delicious pre-ride bite to eat, join me at Bread Bike Bakery (behind Harbor Freight) between 7:00 and 8:30 am. May is Bike Month and they are celebrating it with a free breakfast of coffee and sourdough pancakes with fresh milled whole grain flour and all of your favorite pancake toppings. We will leave there at 8:40 for the 10-minute ride to our meetup location for our 9:00 am departure to our Baywood destination (and more coffee!). We will return to the Laguna shopping center to finish the ride around noon. Total ride is 22 miles round trip from Laguna and 25 miles if you start from Bread Bike.

Volunteer @ SLO Food Bank 2023
Put on your SLO Skiers t-shirt/sweatshirt/name tag...anything that screams SLO Skiers and help pack up food bags for the less fortunate.
Wear closed toe shoes, warm layers and something you don‘t mind getting a little dirty. Bring a water bottle and a snack for yourself. If you haven‘t volunteered with in the last year you will need to fill out a SLO Food Bank Application & Liability Waiver.
